Hello, I have Office Home & Student 2016 for Mac. Am running macOS Catalina 10.15.4. I am unable to run or open Microsoft Messenger. Get message that the app needs to be updated to work with this version of macOS. 32-bit apps no longer with macOS. Microsoft tends to provide less support for Macs in general, and even less for the Mac version of Microsoft Messenger. I'd say use an alternative, like aMSN or Mercury Messenger. AIM is more popular amongst the lower age groups, but Skype is a good option for video chats for the adults (sorry I'm a teen so forgive me if I make you sound really.

Office 2019 and Office 365 are expected to offer 'full compatibility' with the new operating system version of macOS 10.15 Catalina in the fall, just in time for the public release date of macOS 10.15, the software group promises.
